This is the first official retail release of Windows 1.0. The build was compiled on 14th November 1985 and the retail floppy disks were mastered the next day. It was distributed on five 5.25" 360 kB floppy disks, four for the OS and applications, and the fifth one for Windows Write.

This release is only available in English, with the only available keyboard layout being US English QWERTY. Regional options in Control Panel are disabled by default.
