On the IBM PC, there were also Matrix Software Technology Synergy, Trillian VisuALL, Scientia ConceptVP, InView, APX Core Executive, Sorcim/IUS Easyplus and WindowMaster. Aside from Synergy, which seems like a very Mac-like GUI, these appear to have been text-mode task switchers with windowing capabilities, quite similar to TopView and DESQview. Borland Sidekick and Popcorn Desktop were similar, though even more compact and feature-limited packages.

The Apple II series had several different GUIs over its lifetime, most were inspired by the Lisa/Macintosh interface. One of these was GEOS, which was originally made for the Commodore 64.
