Printers and scanners

Windows 1.0 supported several printers, plotters and scanners. The assumed interface is the standard parallel port (LPT). Printer drivers are special in Windows 1.0 and 2.0, as they can be installed either during setup or later via the Control Panel, where they can also be removed without having to reinstall Windows, as is the case with other hardware changes.
