These display adapters were more capable than the average consumer-grade ones, but they were also far more expensive. The primary market for such displays was professional desktop publishing and CAD applications. Many of these were state of the art in the mid to late 80s.

Please note: for now, I've only listed the display adapters for which drivers are available. There were many more displays available that supported Windows 1.0, which I'll add to this list later.
